About Acid Blue 62
Acid Blue 62 is a compound containing acidic groups.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to add color to products or areas of use and to color the hair.[1] In Europe, it may be used as a cosmetic colorant only in rinse-off products.[2] It may also be used in the dye component of non-oxidative hair dyes at up to 0.5%. It must not be used with nitrosating agents, and nitrosamines must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
