About Acetylated Lanolin
Acetylated Lanolin is the acetyl ester of lanolin.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or cling together, reduce friction and add a smooth feel to skin or hair, and create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and roughness in hair for smoother conditioning and to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
