About Abies Pectinata Wood Oil

Abies Pectinata Wood Oil is an oil composed primarily of oil-soluble components.[1] Volatile components obtained from Abies Pectinata wood contribute to the initial impression of the fragrance and the lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more lightly than typical plant oils. In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen.[1] In Korea, it cannot be used in cosmetics when it applies to oils and extracts from leaves with a peroxide value exceeding 10 mmol/L.[2]
