About Abies Pectinata Oil
Abies Pectinata Oil is a volatile oil obtained from Abies Pectinata.[1] The volatile constituents obtained from Abies Pectinata contribute to the first impression of the fragrance and the lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more lightly than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to keep the characteristic odor or taste of raw materials from becoming too pronounced and to refresh and condition the skin or hair.[4] In Korea, it cannot be used in cosmetics when it falls under oils and extracts from leaves with a peroxide value exceeding 10 mmol/L.[2] In Europe, only raw materials with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[3]
