About Abies Alba Leaf Wax

Abies Alba Leaf Wax is a wax obtained from the needles of Abies alba.[1] Because it consists mainly of fatty components obtained from the leaves, it mixes better with oil than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a flexible feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to condition the skin surface, leaving it soft and smooth, and to help protect the skin from external factors.[3] In Europe, only raw materials with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[2]
