About Abies Alba Leaf Oil
Abies Alba Leaf Oil is an oil obtained from Abies Alba leaves.[1] Volatile substances obtained from Abies Alba leaves contribute to the initial impression and lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more readily than ordinary plant oils. In cosmetics, it is used to prevent the characteristic odor or taste of an ingredient from becoming too noticeable, to add fragrance to products or adjust an ingredient's characteristic odor, and to leave the skin or hair feeling fresh and well-groomed.[3] In Europe, only ingredients with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[2]
