About 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor
4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor is an aromatic organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce changes to products and formula ingredients caused by ultraviolet radiation and to absorb or reflect ultraviolet radiation, reducing the amount that reaches the skin.[4] In Korea, it may be used in finished cosmetic products at up to 4%.[2] It cannot be used in cosmetics in Europe.[3]
