Skin&LabGlutathione Ampoule TonerThis toner caught my attention after I saw a makeup artist PICK it. What got me interested was purely a beauty professional's recommendation, but when I looked at the ingredients, I saw that it contains 3,000 ppm of 99% pure glutathione. I had always associated glutathione itself with IV drips and supplements, so I was surprised and intrigued to find it in skincare too. It also contains niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, polyglutamic acid, ceramide NP, and more, and personally, I really liked the combination of ingredients as well. Rather than a product that puts glutathione alone front and center, it feels more like a toner that replenishes moisture while helping with dullness caused by dryness and improving the overall condition of the skin. The texture is on the moisturizing side but not too heavy, and it's easy to layer. Personally, I I like that it feels more like an ampoule toner, just as the name suggests, than a regular toner. I initially checked it out because “it was recommended,” but after actually looking at the ingredients and how it feels to use, I can see why this product is so popular. It's a toner I'd like people who choose products based on ingredients to check out at least once.

CelimaxThe Real Noni Moisture Balancing TonerI bought this when I was struggling with problem skin and kept using it for a long time! It feels more soothing than moisturizing, so I think it's gentle to use when your skin is acting up! Best for oily skin!!

IPSAThe Time R Aqua EI love this product and have repurchased it 3 or 4 times. Lately I've only been using Korean products, so I haven't gotten to use this, but when I do, my skin feels like it's filled with moisture, and it's such a good product that it makes me think, this really is the one! It's just slightly viscous, but basically very watery. It's a product that helps your skin retain more moisture, so I think it's good for people with dehydrated skin or anyone who wants to boost hydration. It's a basic product, and I think it'll probably work for a lot of people's skin.

NaturieHatomugi Skin ConditionerGreat value, so you can splash it on generously ◎ The huge 500 ml bottle means you can use as much as you want without holding back! It feels light and watery, and it really came in handy when my skin felt hot or irritated. It doesn't feel very irritating, and the simple formula is reassuring ◎ Moisturizing-wise, it's so-so, I guess? Rather than deeply moisturizing, it feels like it gives your skin an initial boost of hydration. I recommend sealing it in with an emulsion or cream afterward. When my skin isn't doing well or I want to keep my summer skincare light, I like the first thing that touches my skin to be something simple like this ☺️ Would repurchase: Yes ◎

AEQUWACalming Glow TonerIt's watery and absorbs into the skin right away. It's refreshing, so it might not be moisturizing enough during dry seasons. I recommend it for people with combination or oily skin. It leaves my skin feeling plump after application. My skin was irritated and red from acne, but after a few hours, it had calmed down and the redness was gone. It feels similar to Anua's toner, but while Anua's toner didn't calm my skin, this toner worked, maybe because it suited my skin better. I recommend it for anyone struggling with acne. Using it as part of my skincare before makeup gives me glowing skin.

IhadaWhitening Clear LotionThis is a toner from Ihada. I bought it because Ihada is made by Shiseido, a brand I like, and also because a friend recommended it to me. It feels really nice to use, and I love it. It's not too sticky, and it absorbs into the skin quickly. I'm using the whitening version, and while it doesn't whiten your skin immediately after application, I think you'll notice your skin becoming calmer and smoother the more you use it. I recommend it since you can buy it at drugstores.

Clé de Peau BeautéLotion Essentielle AA moisturizing toner formulated with their proprietary Precious Rice Koji Ferment Extract (for hydration). The gold bottle is beautiful✨ They recommend three pumps, applied with either a cotton pad or your hands. I prefer pressing it in with my hands. It has a slightly thick texture but absorbs well🥰 It leaves my skin moisturized, and the fragrance is gentle and not too strong. I have dry skin, so this is a staple for me. It's pricey, but you get 170 ml, so it lasts quite a while.

MatsuyamaHadauru Moisturizing Infusion Balancing LotionMy whole family shares and uses this at my parents' house. Above all, it's very gentle, and the best thing about it is that it absorbs gently without stinging, even when my skin is irritated or during seasons when it's prone to sensitivity. It's not sticky, but it thoroughly moisturizes all the way to the stratum corneum and helps calm my skin down. Anyone can use it comfortably regardless of age or skin type, so I think it's perfect for at-home skincare for the whole family. We plan to keep repurchasing it as a staple at my parents' house.

MamondeFlora Glow Rose Liquid MaskI tried this while looking for something that would help my makeup go on better, and I honestly liked it way more than I expected 🥹🌹 After I apply it, my skin texture feels smoother and more refined, so my base seems to go on so much prettier the next day!! Especially when applying foundation, it feels like it adheres to my skin more evenly than usual, and my base doesn’t lift as much because of flaky skin, so it’s great to use before makeup 💗 When I use it while my skin is looking dry and rough, it looks more hydrated and smooth, so I can really see a difference when I do my makeup ✨ I love that smooth, flawless look when makeup goes on well, so I was pretty satisfied, and I especially want to recommend this to anyone whose base keeps lifting or who’s worried about their skin texture 🫶🏻(I can’t do my makeup without this!!)

TorridenDive In Low Molecule Hyaluronic Acid TonerTorriden toner is so famous that I was curious and tried it, and it was way better than I expected 🥹💙 The texture is light and hydrating like water, so it's great to apply right after washing my face!! I'm not a big fan of sticky toners, but I liked that this left my skin hydrated without feeling heavy 🫧 Even one layer feels hydrating, and when my skin feels dry, layering it several times doesn't feel like too much It's gentle enough to use even on days when my skin isn't in great condition, so I find myself reaching for it often as a daily toner 💗 I'd recommend it if you're looking for a toner that gives your skin a light boost of hydration!!

Bring GreenTea Tree Cica Soothing TonerA great product for lightweight use! It leaves a clean finish, so it's great to use before doing your makeup in the morning!
-
TorridenDive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Skin BoosterI use this as the first booster after washing my face. It has a gel-like texture, but it absorbs right in without feeling like it’s sitting on my skin, and the stickiness doesn’t bother me, so it’s easy to move on to the next step in my skincare routine. It feels refreshing and gives my skin a boost of hydration. It’s fragrance-free too, which is a plus. I also think it’s a great value since you get 200 ml for less than 2,000 yen! In terms of how it feels, for my combination skin that leans dry (dehydrated skin), it’s better suited for spring and summer and doesn’t feel like enough for fall and winter. Because it absorbs so well, I start to feel dry unless I apply the next skincare product fairly quickly. It doesn’t feel moisturizing enough, but I really like that it doesn’t interfere with the rest of my skincare and that it’s easy to use under makeup too!

TirtirMilk Skin TonerIt has a thick, milky texture and sinks into the skin nicely, leaving it moisturized! It's not too sticky, and afterward my skin feels soft and bouncy ◎ It's easy to use for extra hydration when dryness is bothering me!

NaturieHatomugi Skin Conditioner
It has a light, watery texture that absorbs right into the skin! It isn't sticky, and even if you use a lot, it doesn't feel heavy, which is great. It feels refreshing, so when I'm worried about dryness, I want to layer an emulsion or cream on top!

CliniqueClarifying Lotion 1.0An alcohol-free product you can use as a wiping toner. I like it because when I wipe my face with this before doing my skincare, I can really tell that the products absorb better. I like that it doesn't irritate my skin since it's alcohol-free. That said, it is department-store makeup pricing, so I'm using a drugstore alternative for now, but in terms of how it feels to use, the Clinique product is better.

VT CosmeticsLuminous Skin PackThe pads are big and easy to use, but I feel like there's nothing particularly special about them. I use them when I can't be bothered with skincare or don't have time, but they don't moisturize enough so I end up adding a bunch of other stuff anyway. They're not good or bad, just kinda meh. As for making makeup go on better, it's more like...??

VT CosmeticsTX-Toning TonerMaybe it's thanks to the tranexamic acid, but personally, it works wonders on inflamed acne! It's also a huge help that you can use it with any other ingredient!

KOPHERCuripair First TonerAs a first toner I used it at the beginning of my skincare routine! It has a runny, water-like texture and is easy to blend into the skin. It doesn't get sticky easily even when layered, so on days when I had time, I applied 2–3 layers. This alone didn't feel quite moisturizing enough for me, so I layered another toner on top afterward. I think it's easy to use for people who want to add a first-step toner to their usual toner or who have time for layering. It might not be for people who want to use just one toner or prioritize saving time. I didn't notice any major changes, but I feel like it helped prep my skin

MatsuyamaHadauru Moisturizing Infusion Balancing Lotion
This saved my skin when it was acting up, and I've repurchased it twice! When the seasons changed, my usual skincare routine stopped feeling like enough, and my skin started feeling parched and tight. By evening, it would get itchy and irritated, so I thought, "This is bad," and started using this when I reevaluated my skincare routine. That's when I added Matsuyama's lotion and cream. For me, this combination was really easy to use, and my skin started to calm down, so I've relied on it whenever my skin is acting up ever since. I liked the lotion so much that I've repurchased it twice. I'm usually the type who wants to try all kinds of lotions, but it's really reassuring to have something I can think, "I can use this," when my skin isn't doing well. It worked especially well for me during times when my skin was prone to dryness, tightness, and irritation, like when the seasons change. I want to keep this lotion on hand for whenever my skin acts up in the future.

MEDI-PEELMeso Collagen TonerI bought it because I saw a lot of reviews online saying it was a great value, and the bottle is way bigger than I expected, so I've been using it generously. It has a texture similar to aloe soothing gel, but I like that it isn't sticky. There's plenty of it, so I sometimes apply it to areas that tend to get dry, like my elbows.
