  [Why I bought it] I wanted an affordable retinol serum I could keep using, so I bought it on iHerb, and now you can buy it in Japan too [How it feels, what I like about it] I've repurchased it about three times You get a lot for a low price, and it has a lotion-like texture that spreads well, so I can use it on my neck too. I like how it makes my skin feel plump and moisturized It feels like it softens my skin I'm used to retinol, but if it's your first time using it, please adjust how you use it by doing a patch test or leaving a few days between uses [What bothers me] The dropper is sooo hard to use lol. It barely picks up anything... I basically end up applying the liquid stuck to the sides of the dropper A pump would probably be better... sorry if they've improved it recently [How I use it] At night, I use it down to my neck after toner and lotion I can use it every day, but I avoid it after laser treatments or when my skin is acting up [Recommended for] Anyone who wants a retinol serum they can use generously every day

  [Why I bought it] I liked Shiseido's Ultimune line, so I wanted a Shiseido cream too. I bought it at a duty-free shop when I went abroad. [How it feels, what I like about it] A cream with a light, silky texture like almond jelly. With affordable, lightweight products, the moisturizing effect can sometimes feel a little lacking, but this one definitely leaves my skin feeling hydrated. It's moisturizing without being sticky, so it's perfect for my combination skin! The subtle floral scent is soothing too [What concerns me] Nothing in particular. During seasons when my skin feels especially dry, something a little richer might be better [How I use it] It was my go-to nighttime cream during the summer [Recommended for] Anyone looking for a moisturizing nighttime cream with a lightweight feel

  MV Multi Vita Booster Serum

  [Why I bought it] I saw it on Instagram and was curious, so I bought it. It contains all kinds of active ingredients, and I thought it would make skincare easy. [How it feels, what I like] The texture is light and absorbs easily, so it feels nice when I apply it right after washing my face. It doesn't interfere with my makeup even when I use it in the morning. Vitamin serums can sometimes be irritating or have a noticeable smell, but this one has almost none of that.   Madagascar Centella Quick Calming Pad

  Repeat purchase 🔁 I stocked up on these toner pads when they were half price at Don Quijote. What I like about them is how gentle they feel on the skin and how easy they are to tear by hand. That said, they do sting sometimes for me, so I don't think everyone with sensitive skin can necessarily use them without irritation. What's convenient about these pads is how easy they are to work into your routine even when you're busy. Even when I don't have time for skincare because of housework, childcare, work, etc., I can just stick the small pads on my face. Once you get used to it, it only takes a few seconds to get them on. Unlike a sheet mask, you don't have to carefully adjust the sheet where it lifts or line up the eye, nose, and mouth openings, which is another reason they're so easy to use. They're a lifesaver when I'm short on time but want to give my skin some hydration.

  Clearly Corrective Daily Re-Texturizing Triple Acid Peel

  An exfoliating serum🩵 Since I have dry, sensitive skin, this is pretty harsh for me (it does sting), so I use it to smooth things out when my skin feels especially rough! I really wish there were something gentler on my skin, but I haven't found anything else that gets rid of the roughness, so I keep using it. When my skin seems like it can handle it, it works pretty well as long as I moisturize thoroughly with the rest of my skincare afterward😌

  No.3 Bifida Bakuchiol Exfoliating Toner Pads

  One side of these toner pads is embossed. I love that you can easily exfoliate just by wiping with them. When I use them after washing my face and before applying makeup, my skin feels smoother and my makeup goes on better. I use the other side on my cheeks for hydration. I'm almost finished with these.

  Biome Remedy Pore Reset Cooling Pad

  This was a lifesaver in the summer🧊 I used it before applying makeup to cool down my face, and help keep my makeup from breaking down afterward! About a minute or two after putting them on, the areas they were on would feel nice and cool! There's also a perforation down the middle, so it was convenient when putting them on my chin or nose🫶🏻 They were soaked with plenty of essence too!

  Nano Retinol 0.3% + Niacin Renewing Serum

  Even though it's retinol, it's not very irritating and is easy to use. I haven't been able to use it consistently long enough to see results, but the pores of someone who reviewed how it felt to use really did get smaller. I haven't seen that much of a change. Would it make a difference if I used it consistently? I'm not really sure.

  I bought it because Hiro Odagiri recommended it. The glow was nice, and I liked that it was gentle enough to use every day, but I didn't notice any effects other than moisturizing, so I won't repurchase. Using the syringe-like dropper every time was exciting and fun!

Besides doing what a toner should, I feel like it's handy to have for caring for acne and redness-prone skin 🌙

  A bunch of Numbuzin No. 3 products have been going viral, and I haven't seen many people recommending the toner, but I really like this one. It has a slightly thick texture. It's a toner, but this alone leaves my skin pretty moisturized, so it's one of my favorites. I use a watery toner first, then apply this.

  The Time Reset Aqua Lotion

  Rather than being moisturizing, it's more of a watery toner that you splash on generously. The toner itself has very little moisturizing power, and it felt like you had to use it together with IPSA's emulsion to complete the routine. I think I repurchased it about twice, but personally, when it came to the toner alone, I couldn't really tell much difference between this and MUJI or other drugstore toners. That's how I felt.

  Carrot Carotene Calming Water Pad

  Purchased during Qoo10's Mega Sale. I used it from July to September this year. Using it every day made my skin break out. Specifically, my face became red and raw, and it was painful too. I don't know what exactly didn't agree with my skin. I'd heard good things about it on social media many times, so I was really sad when I realized it didn't work for me. If you have sensitive skin, there's a chance it may not work for you either, so please be careful. After realizing it didn't work for my face, I mainly used it on my neck. I wondered if it would smell like carrots!?, but it didn't really have any smell. Also, the pads are soft, so I didn't feel much friction. I think it would be nice and easy to use daily for those whose skin it works for. Skin type ↓ Dry skin/sensitive skin/formerly had atopic dermatitis/thin skin

  It's a two-phase oil, so you shake it before using. It doesn't feel heavy at all, and it's not sticky—it's smooth and easy to use! The scent is pretty strong and smells like a citrus essential oil. Using it before makeup helps my makeup go on better and keeps it from breaking up due to dryness. Also, mixing just a tiny bit into concealer that tends to be drying helps it last longer, and I use it for makeup touch-ups too, so it's convenient and versatile in all sorts of ways. That's why I always keep it in my makeup pouch! It's easy to carry around, and since you only need a very small amount each time, I always go for the mini size. I also like that I can finish the mini size without having too much left over! Personally, this oil is an extra step for me, while my main moisturizing products are toner, serum, and cream. I'd say it's very moisturizing, but it feels more like it seals everything in and doesn't provide much hydration, so unless you hydrate your skin separately, it might not feel all that moisturized? Still, it's really convenient because it's so versatile, so I highly recommend it!

  The mist droplets are pretty big, so instead of spraying it directly on my face, I mostly spray it onto my cushion foundation puff and use it that way! It makes my makeup go on better and gives it a nice glow, so I feel like this is the best way to use it lol. I like the black tea? kind of scent!

  Exosome Cica Cream

  It's a cream, but it's lightweight with very little oiliness, so it isn't very moisturizing.. It didn't provide quite enough moisture for my skin. Since it's more watery, it felt nice and refreshing to use when it was hot! I couldn't really tell if the cica had any soothing effect.. Compared with the serum or toner, it felt like there was less of a presence of active ingredients. I don't feel like it has much of a soothing effect.. Also, depending on what I paired it with, it sometimes pilled.. Partly because I liked how lightweight it was, I finished about two tubes, but now I don't think I'd have many occasions to use it, so I probably won't repurchase? I also didn't feel like the amount or price made it particularly good value..
