  Pola Medical

  Dive Bright Serum

1 monthThis is a brightening serum formulated with Rucinol, the same ingredient used in Pola's White Shot. This is from Pola Medical, Pola's cosmeceutical brand, and I feel like it's much more cost-effective compared to the department-store White Shot. I'm happy that it comes with 100 ml, so I can use it generously. Apparently, Rucinol is said to inhibit melanin production about 5.6 times more effectively than kojic acid and about 380 times more effectively than arbutin, and since I had a less-than-impressive experience with the previous version of Whiteologist (I've only tried a sample of the new version so far...), I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of changes I get with this. I'd like to review any changes and such again around the time I finish it! The texture is a thick, clear serum, and it absorbs into the skin well, but the ethanol feel was a little strong. It has a medicinal feel, kind of like a Eucerin serum. I personally quite like how refreshing it feels, but I also thought it might be a bit polarizing? The concentration of Rucinol isn't specified for either this serum or White Shot, so I don't know, but I'm guessing they're probably about the same. White Shot is expensive, so it seems like it would be hard to keep using, but this serum seems like it'll last quite a while and be easier to stick with.

  Muji

  Fermented Booster Essence Lotion

1 year or moreMuji Fermented Booster Essence Lotion. This is an item I keep repurchasing! This time, I bought another full-size bottle during Muji Week. It contains fermented rice bran extract, a moisturizing ingredient unique to Muji. This product focuses on an ingredient obtained by fermenting rice bran. It also contains ceramide NP, amino acids, sodium hyaluronate, and other moisturizing ingredients. It's a booster-type product used after cleansing and before toner. I love how it feels moisturizing and gives my skin hydration, while also seeming to help the toner and serum I apply next absorb more easily. Even on days when I want to slack off a little on my skincare, I love how easy it is to simply use this first after cleansing and move on to the next step in my routine. Refills are also available, which makes it easy to keep using something you like. Since it's something I use every day, I also care about it being easy to buy, affordably priced, cost-effective, and easy to keep using. A reliable staple that's easy to incorporate into my daily skincare routine without any hassle. I love how simple and easy it is to use, so I plan to keep repurchasing it 🫧💜

  Smooth 31 Skin Pack

6 monthsI've been using this forever! Using it before makeup makes my makeup go on better and keeps my skin from drying out, so even when my makeup starts to wear off, it still looks nice! I also love that there are so many different kinds for different skin concerns ☺️

  ONE BY KOSÉ

  Serum Shield

1 monthI bought the trial size. It has a balm texture that melts into a watery consistency as you spread it. It has a nice, clean scent that reminds me of essential oils. Rather than using this to hydrate my skin, I think it works more as the final sealing step in my skincare routine. It does leave a slightly oily film, so it might make makeup slide around? I've been avoiding using it before makeup just in case. It seems better suited for applying at night before bed. Personally, since it's a balm, I might have preferred it to retain a little more richness... Once it melts, it feels surprisingly light, so it's not like the moisturizing power is in a league of its own... That does make it easy to use, but it's such an impeccably pure, almost medicinal cream that, for this price, I couldn't help wishing it felt a little more special. That said, it's very gentle on the skin and seems like something I could use even when my skin is irritated, so I also thought I'd like to keep it on hand as a rescue product. This trial size is around 1,000 yen, and I liked that it's easy to carry around and store.

  innisfree

Green Tea Ceramide Milk Barrier Essence

3 monthsI personally like innisfree because none of their products are a miss, so I can use them without worrying✨ A toner with a milky texture sounded easy to use too, so I got it right after it launched. It's a milky white toner with almost no viscosity, so it's very watery. I wouldn't say it's all that moisturizing... It's not sticky, so I think I'd be satisfied if I layered it. For better or worse, it's a no-frills toner you can use without thinking. It's not bad, but there's nothing particularly distinctive worth mentioning, so I won't repurchase for now.

Green Tea Ceramide Milk Barrier Essence

1 weekIt's watery yet milky, very moisturizing, and not sticky. Extremely good as a toner for fall and winter. It absorbs well into both the skin and cotton pads, making it easy to use.

  Aestura

  Atobarrier 365 Cream

1 year or moreIt has a rich, firm texture, but it spreads well once you apply it to your skin, and the tiny “high-density ceramide capsules” melt with your body heat and blend in easily!!! It doesn’t feel sticky after application, and the moisturized, plump feeling lasts until the next morning, so that’s a plus. Another plus is that you can use it morning or night and it’s not that sticky. I like using it like a sleeping mask before bed! Also, if you apply too much, it can sometimes feel too oily and heavy. When you use a whole lineup of expensive skincare products, your skin can easily get used to the high concentrations, get tired out, or become irritated, and I’m a self-proclaimed beauty nerd who’s tried a stupid amount of skincare. This feels like it can restore my skin to a healthy state when I occasionally get into that “everything makes it sensitive” phase!! So it’s my go-to powerhouse when my skin feels weakened...

  CHARDE

NMN Vibration Plus Lift Eye Cream

1 monthIt has warming and vibration modes, so before bed I massage around my eyes while warming the area. The cream is a little hard to spread, so I spread it with my fingers before using it. It moisturizes well, and since it's rechargeable and can be used with other eye creams too, it seems like it might be worth buying one.

  One Thing

  Centella Soothing Mist

3 monthsI liked how the toner felt. Even though it's centella, the scent wasn't too strong, and it was moisturizing and easy to use. But the spray nozzle was insanely stiff and hard to use, which was kind of... I wish they'd change the packaging.

  Lits

  Moist Lotion

3 monthsThe texture is slightly thick, but it absorbs pretty quickly. It's affordable and easy to find, and I repurchased it twice, including the refill. Since it contains ceramides and collagen, it also makes my skin feel soft and plump. The fact that it doesn't irritate my skin also makes it feel gentle. However, as someone with dry skin, I found its moisturizing power lacking as the seasons changed, so it didn't quite make me feel like, "It has to be this one!" I do feel that it works for a wide range of skin types, so if it suits your skin, I think it's a toner that's easy to use year-round.

  Numbuzin

No.3 Bifida Bakuchiol Zero Pore Serum

3 monthsI bought the super popular No.3 Bifida Bakuchiol Zero Pore Serum online as part of a set. To cut to the chase, all I can say is, “It lives up to the hype.” I use it at night. The texture is thick and clings to the skin, and it’s very moisturizing. The biggest thing I’ve noticed is how smooth it makes my skin feel—the surface becomes smoother and roughness stops bothering me. My pores do seem shallower too, but rather than a dramatic change, the main benefits are improved skin texture and hydration. It feels moisturized without leaving any stickiness, and it didn’t sting even when my skin was sensitive. The downside is that it takes a little while to absorb. Also, since it’s quite moisturizing, it might feel heavy for people with oily skin. I think it’s best suited for combination to dry skin in fall and winter, when dryness starts becoming an issue. It’s good enough that I’d repurchase it when it’s available in a set during the Qoo10 Mega Sale.

  EAUDE MUGE

  VC Medicated Wiping Lotion

1 weekA product that's been around forever. I guess there's a reason it's a long seller? I haven't found any acne care that really works for me, so I'm using this while trying anything and everything. It does sting on inflamed acne, but it feels like it's disinfecting it and calming the inflammation too, so it's a product I want to keep using.

  Noni Energy Ampoule

6 monthsI love this ampoule so much that I keep a bunch of backups. I use this when I feel like my skin is about to act up or when I've already broken out. It's not like, wow, this works!, but it feels really soothing, and I feel like it's nourishing my skin too lol

  Reedle Shot 300

1 year or more[Used It Up] *Won't repurchase Bought it on Rakuten 🛒 Instead of every day, I gradually started using it less and less—once every 3 days, then once a week... Then I'd remember it and start using it again, and after repeating that cycle, I finally used it up. As for the irritation, (for me) the tingling wasn't that strong (I mean, it was there, but it wasn't unpleasant, and of course I didn't use it when my skin was irritated) I mainly used it at night, before serum, before toner, before a mask, etc. Honestly, I couldn't really tell if it tightened my pores... I didn't see any benefit to applying this first, so I won't repurchase. That said, my skin texture did sometimes look smoother after applying this, so I don't think the claims that it works on pores are totally wrong!! 👍 Obviously, it works for some people and doesn't work for others. I think this is one of those cosmetics that tends to get very mixed reviews.

  Celladix

  Glycylglycine 3.0 Pore Serum

1 weekIt was hyped up so much for being good for pores, so I had high hopes, but it turned into a total disaster😱 The moment I applied it, my skin started stinging and turned red, and I even got little red rash-like bumps in my pores?😭 I've tried all kinds of serums before, but this is the first time one has disagreed with my skin this badly. I wonder which ingredient caused it? Instead of helping with my pores, it irritated my skin, so I'm never using it again. It may be too harsh for sensitive skin, so please be careful. Honestly, this experience scared me, and I might hesitate to use other products from this brand too...

The 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum

6 monthsThis product is low-key famous among beauty junkies, so I got influenced into buying it, and when I apply it as the first step of my skincare routine, my skin gets moisturized quickly and it seems to absorb well without having to layer ampoule several times!! I use it instead of toner, and I'm satisfied because it's a good value and contains peptides 💓

  Vita 10 Porestrix Brightening Serum

1 year or more・Texture: Not sticky ・Results: I don't tan as easily ・Compared to others: There's less product than other vitamin serums, but it's also less irritating 【Honest review】 Bottom line, I'd repurchase! 🫰💓 It does have that distinctive vitamin smell, but it's not sticky or harsh. I was originally using Torriden's vitamin serum, but the effects were gradual so it felt a little underwhelming, This one is gentle, but I can really feel the vitamin benefits. After finishing my first bottle, the biggest difference I noticed was brighter skin 【Recommended for people who】 ・Are looking for a non-irritating vitamin serum ・Want brightening and pore care ・Want dark spot care

  Gingko Leaf Pore Resurfacing Serum

6 months＼Recommended for／ People struggling with enlarged pores The first serum my boyfriend, who struggles with oily skin and enlarged pores, has ever asked me to repurchase himself, saying, "I ran out, so I want another one" *Posting because it worked for his skin, not mine 【Skin type】Oily skin ・Texture: lightweight　Great as the first serum in your routine! ・Irritation: None 【Honest review】 He felt a difference after one use of the mask from the same line, so he uses this every night. It feels like his pores have tightened He felt like it had the effect of lifting his sagging pores. This was the first serum my boyfriend, who struggles with oily skin and enlarged pores, has ever asked me to repurchase himself, saying, "I ran out, so I want another one," and he seems to really like it. It's gentle and the texture is easy to use, so I think it could work for skin types other than oily skin too ◎
