AlbionFlarune Full Refine Milk F MI've been using Albion's pre-lotion emulsion since I was 20. There were periods when I took a break from it, but out of about 19 years, I probably used Albion's emulsion for around 15 of them. I've been using it since the old Exage days, through renewals and product changes, so it's not like I've been using only Flarune for 15 years 😂 When I was using it, I went through about one bottle a month. I've bought so many I have no idea how many bottles it's been…… It's by far the longest relationship I've had with any product in my skincare routine. Albion's pre-lotion emulsion is used right after washing your face, before toner. Even when my skin is dry and rough, I've always loved how soft, supple, and moisturized it feels after using it. Since starting a beauty account on X, I've begun trying all kinds of skincare, so I'm taking a break from it for now. But I still love it. Even now that I use all sorts of products, it's still my go-to that I can see myself coming back to.

Tout VertNano Emulsion PlusI finished the whole bottle! I bought it last fall, and after using it on and off, I finally finished it. Honestly, even by the end, I still couldn't really tell what this had changed for me 😯 It has a lightweight feel, and I guess it was moisturizing...maybe? I didn't feel like my skin got dramatically better because I used it, so I don't plan to repurchase it for now. One good thing, though, was that I found it easy to use even when my skin was irritated. The texture made it easy to incorporate into my routine even when I wasn't in the mood for a heavy moisturizer. And when it arrived, I looked at the bottle and thought, "It's tiny!!!" 😂 I was like, this size for 3,610 yen~? But since you only use a small amount each time, it actually lasted surprisingly long, even though I used it on and off. It's not so much that it was bad; I just couldn't figure out what made it a "this is the one" product for me. Now that I've finished it, I'm going to try a different emulsion next!

Even though it's a lotion, it gives the skin just the right amount of glow, and I think the oils are why it's moisturizing enough on its own. It makes my skin feel soft and bouncy. But it's not like the oils make your fingers glide over your skin. It's not exactly sticky either, but it feels like it really adheres to the skin. I think that's why makeup applies so well over it and gives a glowy finish. It spreads really well, so I apply a little at a time and adjust the amount as I go.

KaneboDew Glamast Milk DropYesterday's trip-home cosmetics that had me going, okayyy, this is good 💭 I couldn't be bothered to bring full-size products, so I bought a DEW trial set at Matsukiyo, and it was way better than I expected 🎀🙌🏻🤍 My skin was totally loving it the next morning...!!!! That's Team Kanebo for you!!!! They must've pulled out all the stops with their research tech 🤍👏🏻 The fragrance is gorgeous too 💭 I'll use it for 10 days first and then decide whether to repurchase.

IPSAThe Time Reset Aqua LotionIt has great moisture retention and makes my skin feel deeply hydrated. I still haven't found another toner that makes my skin feel more hydrated than this one. Maybe it just works well with my skin? When I use it, my skin texture looks more refined. I forget the exact number, but I've repurchased it 3 or 4 times. The texture is light and watery, but it has a little viscosity, so even though it's lightweight, it's still easy to apply, which is nice.

IPSA The Time Reset Aqua Lotion A toner I've repurchased over and over! It's the kind you can splash on generously, and I loooove how it feels like my skin just drinks it right up! It's fragrance-free and, how should I put it, pleasantly no-frills. It was reformulated a little while ago, and this is the old version, but I love it so much I still have a few bottles stocked up! I reach for it when I just want simple hydration, and it's easy to pair with other skincare products.

This pre-toner emulsion softens and loosens up the skin, creating a pathway for the rest of your skincare. It provided just the right amount of moisture for spring and summer, and I liked that it wasn't sticky. It was especially good to use in the morning, but I felt like it wasn't quite enough at night. I especially recommend it for anyone who feels like their current skincare routine isn't quite enough, or whose skin tends to get rough and products don't absorb well when the seasons change. Since they released one with brightening ingredients and I bought a pre-toner emulsion from Albion's luxury line?, I don't currently plan to repurchase.

I bought this when it was getting a lot of buzz for being good to use before makeup. It's a lightweight emulsion, but it still seems to have all the important qualities you'd want from one. I have combination skin that gets oily easily, and it did make my makeup break down a little more easily in the middle of summer. But it's easy to use in every season besides summer! If you wait a little after applying it, the heaviness on the surface goes away, so this waiting time is important when using it before makeup!! Be careful because your makeup will break down more easily if you apply it right away! It's really moisturizing, and it feels like a nice balance between lightweight and moisturizing.

It's juuust right for moisturizing before makeup. It's not too sticky but still moisturizing enough, and I like it because I don't have to worry much about dryness when I apply my makeup after using this. I haven't really noticed any dramatic skin-clearing effects just from applying it, but it's easy to use because it doesn't interfere with sunscreen or primer after moisturizing, so I think I'll keep using it. It's not enough of an issue to lower my rating, but I feel like the cap gets harder to close over time. But overall, I love ongredients ♡

I used this as a lotion before makeup! It's so moisturizing that I can't go without it during the inevitably dry fall and winter months! When I apply it in the morning, I don't get dry at all the entire day! I was amazed. It kept me moisturized all day even in my desert-dry office, so I plan to use it again this winter! It doesn't feel heavy, but it stays sticky unless you let it sit for a bit after applying! You can use it morning and night, and it lasted me about six months, so it's also insanely good value for money🤝

Care CeraAP Moisture Barrier Pre-EmulsionI have thin, dry skin, but in spring and summer, too much moisturizing makes me feel greasy and prone to breakouts, so I tried using a pre-emulsion because I wanted to properly hydrate my skin from within. It was too heavy for summer! It didn't really make things better or worse, but partway through, maybe the moisturizing feel got too heavy after all, because my skin became unstable. When I started using a hyaluronic acid serum before toner instead of the pre-emulsion, I felt like the moisture balance became just right. Maybe I'll use the rest in winter~

ongredientsSkin Barrier Cool Calming LotionI like the regular Skin Barrier Calming Lotion, so I bought this when I heard they were releasing a cooling version for summer. I don't really feel much of a cooling sensation. It feels cool the moment I put it in my hand, but not so much when I apply it to my cheeks. I don't think it makes much difference even if I apply it directly to my cheeks. It's lighter than the regular lotion, so it might be good for people who don't like sticky products. In terms of moisture and how well makeup applies too, I recommend the regular one.

Care CeraAP Moisture Barrier Pre-Emulsion
I was curious about it after it went viral on X, and then one of my followers recommended it, so I bought it. It's so cheap that you can use it not only on your face but also on your body, which makes it really easy to try. That said, it's hard to say whether I've noticed any major changes from using it, so for now I mix it with Kose Cosmeport's Perfect Essence and use it as a temporary stopgap after cleansing when I get home until I take a bath. It has a very watery texture and spreads well, and since I only use one pump, I bought it four months ago but it's still nowhere near empty. Once I finish it, I'll try using only Perfect Essence for a while, and if I start noticing dryness, I'll consider buying it again!

Seems good for people who want a really dewy base makeup look with liquid or cushion foundation. It feels extremely watery and oily, and the surface of my skin stays damp forever, so powder and blush slide around like crazy... It wasn't for me since I prefer a semi-matte to matte finish.
