23 years oldDerma Thin Veil Base PrimerA mysterious primer that's moisturizing but leaves the surface silky smooth 🐈⬛ Texture: Green Lightweight and spreads well Fragrance-free How it feels: Soft, creamy texture Easy to spread evenly Feels fresh and hydrating while applying, with a silky-smooth finish 《What I liked》 ・Spreads well and blends easily ・Blurs the surface and makes it look smooth ・Silky and not sticky. It's about as silky as antiperspirant powder. 《Things to note》 ・The smoothing effect on uneven texture is subtle. It only gives a soft-focus effect, so don't expect it to cover enlarged pores. ・The green one doesn't give a dewy finish 【Overall】 There are three shades, and the green one is apparently for sensitive and dry skin. It's so strange how it feels moisturizing but turns silky once applied. It works well with my foundation. Unless I sweat a ton, it doesn't break down easily. It's better not to expect the ideal of perfectly filling in uneven texture. But I think I'd rather have it make my skin look moderately smooth than use something loaded with silicone that clogs my pores 🌙

DecorteTone Perfecting Concealer PaletteMy favorite concealer I've ever used! I've had really dark blue under-eye circles since birth, and I've tried concealers from DIOR, Covermark, and others. Since single-shade types have a uniform color, even after applying them, the darkest parts of my circles would often still show through a little. This comes with four shades, and being able to adjust the color depending on how dark my circles are and where they are makes it so easy to use! I layer a few different shades over my under-eye circles. Rather than completely covering them with a thick layer, I like how it blends in with my natural skin and makes my circles less noticeable in a natural-looking way. It doesn't dry out easily, and I also love that creasing isn't much of an issue even after some time has passed. My skin is thin, so layering too much concealer around my eyes can easily look messy, but this makes it relatively easy to get a natural-looking finish. I've tried all kinds of concealers, but so far this is my favorite. I think it's especially easy to use for people like me whose under-eye circles vary in darkness and are hard to cover nicely with a single shade. Even though it has four shades, I've actually only figured out how to use about two of them so far 😂 Even so, it's easier to adjust than a single-shade concealer, and I really like it.

FweeSpa Glowing UV Tone-Up Base SPF 50+The light blue one is apparently the moisturizing type for dry skin, but I had no particular issues using it in the summer. It was recommended to me by someone I know with dry skin, so I do think it's true that it suits dry skin better. In the summer, it wears off normally in areas that get oily. The finish in the photo is with Fwee + WAKEMAKE foundation. The coverage isn't strong, but the tone-up effect is great, so I can totally go out with just this.

Addiction TokyoBlur & Lock Primer SPF 38 PA+++Doesn't feel like a pore-blurring primer at all Smooth, moisturizing texture It makes my skin look nice and smooth and the foundation I apply afterward makes my skin look even more even🦭✨ It's a light pink-beige shade and I can see a brightening effect plus I felt like it evened out my skin tone too! It feels moisturizing going on but once it's fully blended out, it isn't that sticky so I'm happy it's easy to use even in summer◎ It feels nice enough to apply all over my face but I mainly used it on my nose and inner cheeks😽🤍 As for whether it'll work in seasons when dryness is an issue I'll keep using it and come back with an update!

EspoirMakeup Bonding PrimerIt’s really great as a primer under cushion foundation! It has a glue-like texture, and when you spread it out, it dries just enough to help the foundation adhere beautifully. It’s also very moisturizing and doesn’t break up from dryness. As for oil and sweat, it’s neither good nor bad... I did wonder if it might be a little heavy for summer. I feel like it looks better and lasts longer in cooler weather. I was more like, wow! when I used it as a primer for cushion foundation than when I used it under liquid foundation. Once you spread it out, it dries to some extent and creates a smooth, flat surface, so if you apply the foundation from there without letting the two mix, it goes on beautifully. I feel like its main role is to create that flat surface. The pump dispenser also makes it easy to use!

AlbionSuper UV Cut Repair Perfection Base SPF 50+Even though I tried a bunch of other products along the way, I went through three tubes! It was watery and spread easily, and was really easy to use as both sunscreen and makeup primer. It didn’t feel too heavy, and I liked how I could quickly smooth it on every morning. I did use three tubes in the end, so it’s not like I have any complaints, but considering it’s 6,600 yen, I probably won’t repurchase for now. Before this, I was using the silver UV sunscreen from Orbis, and considering the price, how it felt to use, and everything else, I personally preferred Orbis overall. Albion was easy to use too, and I liked it enough to go through three tubes, but I never quite felt like, “This is the one I have to pay 6,600 yen for!” Or rather, maybe the silver UV from Orbis was just too perfect for me. There have been so many great sunscreens coming out lately, so I’m going to keep trying all kinds of them.

DecorteRosy Glowrizer + PrimerDecorte Rosy Glowrizer + Primer I was curious about it because it had been getting a lot of buzz on social media, so I bought it. It brightens up my skin tone, and the fine pearls give my skin a natural glow that looks like it's shining from within! However, it may not be the best choice for those looking for coverage. It definitely looks beautiful on its own, but if you want a more polished finish, you can apply concealer over any areas of concern or pair it with a cushion foundation for a beautiful finish. It spreads easily and has a moisturizing texture, so it goes on beautifully and evenly. It breaks down easily from excess oil, so you definitely need to take steps to prevent that! I felt that this was an easy-to-use primer for people with dry skin. When removing my makeup, the fine pearls are pretty hard to get off, so it's best to cleanse thoroughly. It might not be for lazy people...! I recommend this primer for anyone who likes a natural finish!

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur N\The ultimate primer for going foundation-free! A holy grail I've been repurchasing for 4–5 years/ I usually go foundation-free and finish with just primer + powder, and my main skin concerns are dryness and dullness. I love using d'Alba sunscreen for everyday wear, but for my base makeup on “special days,” like weekends or when I'm going out, I always use this Clé de Peau Beauté Voile Correcteur N. When I apply it, it naturally brightens and smooths out my skin, blurring uneven tone and dullness and making my whole complexion look even. It doesn't completely cover large dark spots or acne scars, but I absolutely love how it makes my bare skin itself look more beautiful. My skin doesn't feel dry at all during the day, and the moisturized feeling lasts. It spreads really well, so when I use it mainly on weekends, one tube lasts me about a year. It does come with a luxury beauty price tag, but considering how long it lasts and the finish, it's an investment I can justify. I've loved and used it for the past 4–5 years, and it's definitely a must-have I want to keep using.

EspoirMakeup Bonding PrimerEspoir Makeup Bonding Primer Recently, it's my #1 cosmetic I can't live without It has a sticky, glue-like texture, and it feels like it helps makeup go on better and makes foundation adhere better It's clear, so for me, a separate color-correcting base is a must It adds another step, but it's an item I absolutely can't skip Even by the evening, the makeup around my mouth hadn't broken up from dryness, amazing

AlbionElegance Modeling Color Up BaseThis was my first time buying a yellow primer, and it evened out my skin tone really well🎶 It also covers redness. When I even out my skin tone with this primer before applying foundation, the finish looks really beautiful. I'm also happy that it's not that expensive.

TFITDelicate Silk Veil Art PrimerI bought it because it went viral for making pores less noticeable, but my pores didn't completely disappear. I liked the smooth, matte feel. I didn't really notice much of an effect, so I won't repurchase.

Paul & JoeMoisturising Foundation PrimerIt spreads easily and feels fresh and hydrating. It naturally brightens up my skin, but the coverage is pretty light. Personally, I found the finish a bit underwhelming, so I won't be repurchasing,,🥲

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur NIt naturally brightened my skin while softly blurring pores and uneven texture! It felt moisturizing and smooth, spread easily, and gave me an elegant, glowy finish without looking cakey, which is a big plus. I’d buy it again!

Banila CoPrime Primer ClassicIt has a light texture that spreads smoothly and doesn't feel thick on the skin. It's easy to blend out and doesn't leave much stickiness or heaviness behind. Rather than completely filling in pores for a totally flat finish, it feels like it subtly blurs uneven texture and smooths the skin's surface. It also provides some pore coverage, and makes the base look smooth when foundation is layered over it. Even though it has a smooth, dry finish, it doesn't feel drying, and I feel like it helps keep oils from coming through and causing makeup to break down over time, so I personally found it easy to use during the summer. This primer is easy to use when you want to smooth out your skin without looking cakey and keep oils from breaking down your makeup, rather than thoroughly filling in your pores.

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur NI've repurchased this product many times. It's my go-to base makeup for workdays. It's a soft cream, so I apply it with my fingers. After applying, I press it in with both hands to help it blend. Then I dust on Clé de Peau Beauté powder or a white-to-skin-tone powder from another brand, and it gives me a properly made-up finish without looking cakey. It's excellent. I've tried base makeup from all kinds of brands over the years, but this is my favorite.

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile LumineuxWhen I went to Korea before, I tried to buy Voile Correcteur N at the duty-free shop, but it was sold out, and Voile Lumineux was cheap, so I bought that instead. The texture is quite runny, and it spreads very well. It brightens my skin tone and contains a serum, so it's easy to use, but Voile Correcteur N is still the best because it gives me everything, including coverage and brightening.

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur NThis is my second one—bought it again! It's a primer with weak sun protection, but it has great coverage, so I use it every day. (The high price hurts, but it's not something I have to replace all the time, so oh well!) Maybe it works well with the skincare I'm currently using, because it never pills, and it's super easy to use!

GivenchyPrisme Libre Skin & Color Serum PrimerIt looks pretty glittery when you see it on your hand, but once applied to the skin, the shimmer is surprisingly subtle, and it was a purple primer that gave my skin a natural translucence💜 I use it mixed with sunscreen or layered over areas where I want more translucence◎ My favorite way to use it is on my neck! In summer, tanning can make my face and neck look like different colors, but I often don't want to apply foundation all the way down my neck because it'll get on my clothes...💦 At times like that, applying a small amount around my neck naturally brightened the dullness, which was really handy♡ It also has skincare benefits, and apparently you can even apply it before going to bed at night! I thought, "At this point, it's basically a serum!" but honestly, when I used it on its own as skincare, it wasn't quite moisturizing enough😣 I've found that primers with lots of skincare ingredients tend to be more moisturizing but also more likely to break down in summer, so this formula that feels like skincare while adhering snugly to the skin is rare!✨✨ It doesn't break down easily even in summer and feels like it really stays put on the skin◎ So personally, rather than choosing it mainly for skincare, I think it's an item I'd recommend to people who prioritize how it performs as a primer but also want skincare benefits☺️ The dropper makes it easy to control the amount, and I also love the luxurious-looking bottle♡ Feeling excited when you do your makeup really is important! The scent is very Givenchy, and it's quite noticeable right after application, but it faded enough over time that it didn't bother me. ✔︎You want natural translucence ✔︎You're looking for a purple primer that won't leave a white cast easily ✔︎You want to naturally brighten dullness around your neck too ✔︎You want a primer that doesn't break down easily even in summer ✔︎You want to use a primer with skincare benefits I recommend it for anyone like this💜

Clé de Peau BeautéVoile Correcteur NIt stays moisturizing and does such a great job perfecting my skin that my natural skin looks beautiful! Dewy, glowing skin! Poreless! After some time had passed, my nose got a little shiny, but when I blotted it with a tissue, it went back to looking beautiful like it did before! This is a primer that made me think, I want to keep using this!
