Decorte Tone Perfecting Concealer Palette

This is the only palette concealer I use! I used to use 01, and then I bought 00, so I've been using it for years now It's smooth like nama chocolate, blends well, and is easy to use When I just want to cover something, I casually mix the two bottom shades, and when I want to cover dark circles, I only use the orange in the top right When I want to add dimension or brightness as a highlighter, I use the top left Even though it's a palette, it's not complicated to use, so I can reach for it without thinking Also, the included brush deserves a special mention! For some reason it's incredibly easy to use, and even though I own all kinds of concealer brushes, whenever I use this, I always use the included brush It helps me apply it evenly and neatly It's slim and just right for carrying around, and unless something really intriguing comes along, I think I'll keep using this

Elegance Modeling Color Up Base

I use the yellow. I was torn between pink and beige, but I didn't want to look too pale, and dullness is a concern for me, so I went with yellow. A color-correcting base that evens out the skin and gives it tons of clarity. I resist the urge to apply a lot and just spread a thin layer, focusing on areas of my cheeks where dullness and redness are a concern, and my skin looks beautiful even with less foundation! Next I want to try the UV-cut version.

Clé de Peau Beauté

Voile Correcteur N

The super viral Clé de Peau Beauté primer This primer is seriously way too good✨️ Once you use this, you can't go back to other primers... It gives natural coverage without looking cakey and makes your skin look like you're naturally blessed with beautiful skin For a quick outing, this and some powder are honestly enough It glides on smoothly, so it's easy to apply, and it really adheres snugly to the skin Foundation goes on beautifully too The price is a little high, so you might hesitate, but a small amount goes a long way and lasts ages More than anything, the finish makes it totally worth the price🫶

Elegance Modeling Color Up Base

A beauty advisor recommended it to me at a pop-up, and when I tried it on, it evened out my skin tone, so I bought it! I use green 🟩 on areas with redness and pink 🩷 on areas that tend to look dull. I have oily skin, but I also feel like it doesn't wear off easily!

Yves Saint Laurent

Touche Éclat Blur Face Primer

This primer leaves a smooth, non-sticky finish, and the luxurious packaging makes me feel good too. There's a generous amount of primer, and it lasted me a long time even with daily use. Rather than providing coverage, it evens out the skin, and I really liked how smooth and non-sticky it felt after application. But this primer looks so luxurious, and more than anything, it just makes me feel good!

Petal Float Flawless Touch

I'm currently loving 01 ♡ My dark circles are pretty bad, so I go through the orange shade in the top right quickly. What I like about this concealer is how it melts with your body heat and becomes smooth, so it glides on easily. The skin around the eyes is thin, so it's great that it doesn't get thick and can be applied in a thin layer. It's moisturizing too, so I love that I can use it without worrying even during seasons when dryness is a concern. It's great to correct dark circles with the orange and then layer foundation over it. It's also great layered in the order of foundation → orange → beige. I switch it up depending on my base makeup that day and how much coverage I want. The top left is a highlighter shade. Sometimes I mix a small amount into the concealer to add a subtle glow.

Paul & Joe

Moisturising Foundation Primer

I love it so much I bought it again. Paul & Joe Moisturising Foundation Primer 00 I bought the limited-edition half size. Even though it's half size, the packaging is just as cute. A little goes a long way, and it works so well with my foundation—I love it!! I don't usually repurchase primers, but I couldn't help buying this one again. It subtly brightens my skin tone and evens out any discoloration. It also helps the foundation I apply afterward adhere well and go on beautifully. It's moisturizing, so I think it's especially great for people with dry skin or for fall and winter!

RMK

Refining Poreless Skin Base

It softly blurs uneven pores while leaving an elegant, dewy, translucent finish. It feels completely weightless, yet stays put all day, so my skin looks good enough to keep me feeling confident from morning to night. I love the comfortable, lightweight texture that melts right into my skin. I think this is a great primer for anyone who wants to keep a natural, bare-skin look.

Paul & Joe

Moisturising Foundation Primer

It adheres closely to the skin, preventing creasing and fading while keeping that beautiful, freshly applied finish. It doesn't get dull easily even when exposed to sweat, so it's perfect for someone like me who sweats a lot! It feels as luxurious as a serum, so I think it'll be a huge help in the coming season when dryness becomes a concern.

Derma Thin Veil Base Primer

A mysterious primer that's moisturizing but leaves the surface silky smooth 🐈‍⬛ Texture: Green Lightweight and spreads well Fragrance-free How it feels: Soft, creamy texture Easy to spread evenly Feels fresh and hydrating while applying, with a silky-smooth finish 《What I liked》・Spreads well and blends easily ・Blurs the surface and makes it look smooth ・Silky and not sticky. It's about as silky as antiperspirant powder. 《Things to note》・The smoothing effect on uneven texture is subtle. It only gives a soft-focus effect, so don't expect it to cover enlarged pores. ・The green one doesn't give a dewy finish 　【Overall】 There are three shades, and the green one is apparently for sensitive and dry skin. It's so strange how it feels moisturizing but turns silky once applied. It works well with my foundation. Unless I sweat a ton, it doesn't break down easily. It's better not to expect the ideal of perfectly filling in uneven texture. But I think I'd rather have it make my skin look moderately smooth than use something loaded with silicone that clogs my pores 🌙

Decorte

Tone Perfecting Concealer Palette

My favorite concealer I've ever used! I've had really dark blue under-eye circles since birth, and I've tried concealers from DIOR, Covermark, and others. Since single-shade types have a uniform color, even after applying them, the darkest parts of my circles would often still show through a little. This comes with four shades, and being able to adjust the color depending on how dark my circles are and where they are makes it so easy to use! I layer a few different shades over my under-eye circles. Rather than completely covering them with a thick layer, I like how it blends in with my natural skin and makes my circles less noticeable in a natural-looking way. It doesn't dry out easily, and I also love that creasing isn't much of an issue even after some time has passed. My skin is thin, so layering too much concealer around my eyes can easily look messy, but this makes it relatively easy to get a natural-looking finish. I've tried all kinds of concealers, but so far this is my favorite. I think it's especially easy to use for people like me whose under-eye circles vary in darkness and are hard to cover nicely with a single shade. Even though it has four shades, I've actually only figured out how to use about two of them so far 😂 Even so, it's easier to adjust than a single-shade concealer, and I really like it.

Fwee

Spa Glowing UV Tone-Up Base SPF 50+

The light blue one is apparently the moisturizing type for dry skin, but I had no particular issues using it in the summer. It was recommended to me by someone I know with dry skin, so I do think it's true that it suits dry skin better. In the summer, it wears off normally in areas that get oily. The finish in the photo is with Fwee + WAKEMAKE foundation. The coverage isn't strong, but the tone-up effect is great, so I can totally go out with just this.

Blur & Lock Primer SPF 38 PA+++

Doesn't feel like a pore-blurring primer at all Smooth, moisturizing texture It makes my skin look nice and smooth and the foundation I apply afterward makes my skin look even more even🦭✨ It's a light pink-beige shade and I can see a brightening effect plus I felt like it evened out my skin tone too! It feels moisturizing going on but once it's fully blended out, it isn't that sticky so I'm happy it's easy to use even in summer◎ It feels nice enough to apply all over my face but I mainly used it on my nose and inner cheeks😽🤍 As for whether it'll work in seasons when dryness is an issue I'll keep using it and come back with an update!

Espoir

Makeup Bonding Primer

It’s really great as a primer under cushion foundation! It has a glue-like texture, and when you spread it out, it dries just enough to help the foundation adhere beautifully. It’s also very moisturizing and doesn’t break up from dryness. As for oil and sweat, it’s neither good nor bad... I did wonder if it might be a little heavy for summer. I feel like it looks better and lasts longer in cooler weather. I was more like, wow! when I used it as a primer for cushion foundation than when I used it under liquid foundation. Once you spread it out, it dries to some extent and creates a smooth, flat surface, so if you apply the foundation from there without letting the two mix, it goes on beautifully. I feel like its main role is to create that flat surface. The pump dispenser also makes it easy to use!

Super UV Cut Repair Perfection Base SPF 50+

Even though I tried a bunch of other products along the way, I went through three tubes! It was watery and spread easily, and was really easy to use as both sunscreen and makeup primer. It didn’t feel too heavy, and I liked how I could quickly smooth it on every morning. I did use three tubes in the end, so it’s not like I have any complaints, but considering it’s 6,600 yen, I probably won’t repurchase for now. Before this, I was using the silver UV sunscreen from Orbis, and considering the price, how it felt to use, and everything else, I personally preferred Orbis overall. Albion was easy to use too, and I liked it enough to go through three tubes, but I never quite felt like, “This is the one I have to pay 6,600 yen for!” Or rather, maybe the silver UV from Orbis was just too perfect for me. There have been so many great sunscreens coming out lately, so I’m going to keep trying all kinds of them.

Decorte

Rosy Glowrizer + Primer

Decorte Rosy Glowrizer + Primer I was curious about it because it had been getting a lot of buzz on social media, so I bought it. It brightens up my skin tone, and the fine pearls give my skin a natural glow that looks like it's shining from within! However, it may not be the best choice for those looking for coverage. It definitely looks beautiful on its own, but if you want a more polished finish, you can apply concealer over any areas of concern or pair it with a cushion foundation for a beautiful finish. It spreads easily and has a moisturizing texture, so it goes on beautifully and evenly. It breaks down easily from excess oil, so you definitely need to take steps to prevent that! I felt that this was an easy-to-use primer for people with dry skin. When removing my makeup, the fine pearls are pretty hard to get off, so it's best to cleanse thoroughly. It might not be for lazy people...! I recommend this primer for anyone who likes a natural finish!

Clé de Peau Beauté

Voile Correcteur N

＼The ultimate primer for going foundation-free! A holy grail I've been repurchasing for 4–5 years／ I usually go foundation-free and finish with just primer + powder, and my main skin concerns are dryness and dullness. I love using d'Alba sunscreen for everyday wear, but for my base makeup on “special days,” like weekends or when I'm going out, I always use this Clé de Peau Beauté Voile Correcteur N. When I apply it, it naturally brightens and smooths out my skin, blurring uneven tone and dullness and making my whole complexion look even. It doesn't completely cover large dark spots or acne scars, but I absolutely love how it makes my bare skin itself look more beautiful. My skin doesn't feel dry at all during the day, and the moisturized feeling lasts. It spreads really well, so when I use it mainly on weekends, one tube lasts me about a year. It does come with a luxury beauty price tag, but considering how long it lasts and the finish, it's an investment I can justify. I've loved and used it for the past 4–5 years, and it's definitely a must-have I want to keep using.

Makeup Bonding Primer

Espoir Makeup Bonding Primer Recently, it's my #1 cosmetic I can't live without It has a sticky, glue-like texture, and it feels like it helps makeup go on better and makes foundation adhere better It's clear, so for me, a separate color-correcting base is a must It adds another step, but it's an item I absolutely can't skip Even by the evening, the makeup around my mouth hadn't broken up from dryness, amazing

Elegance Modeling Color Up Base

This was my first time buying a yellow primer, and it evened out my skin tone really well🎶 It also covers redness. When I even out my skin tone with this primer before applying foundation, the finish looks really beautiful. I'm also happy that it's not that expensive.
