  Serum Veil Deep Repair

As I've gotten older, something that's started bothering me more than before is feeling like my skin is “dry even though I'm moisturizing.” My skin gets especially oily in the summer, so my whole face feels greasy, but just the area from under my nose to around my mouth gets dry easily… Sometimes it feels dry immediately after doing my skincare thoroughly. Even when I layer on a highly moisturizing cream, only that area stays dry, leaving me like, “What else am I supposed to put on?” 🥹 That's when I added ONE BY KOSÉ Serum Veil Deep Repair to my routine. It contains the active ingredient Rice Power® No.11, which improves the skin's moisture-retaining ability. I use it all over my face immediately after cleansing, before toner. After that, I use toner → serum → emulsion only on the areas where dryness bothers me. That's about it in summer. What I realized after I started using it is that maybe what I was missing was care that helps my skin hold on to and retain moisture. It leaves my skin moisturized without feeling heavy, and the stickiness doesn't bother me either 🤍 My skin gets oily, but it's also dry in certain areas. It works so well for my combination skin, and now it's an essential first step in my skincare routine. I definitely want to keep using this ☺️

  MediCube

  Placenta Vita Serum

Purchased together with MediCube's Booster Pro. I think it's an easy-to-use serum that's non-irritating and moisturizing. But I didn't notice any effects other than hydration, so I don't plan to repurchase.

The texture is somewhere between a cream and a serum. Surprisingly, it feels lightweight yet moisturizing. It blends into my skin well and doesn’t interfere with my other skincare products. It’s easy to use in summer too. The ingredients are nice for sensitive skin, but when my skin was sensitive, it stung a little. Although it doesn’t contain fragrance ingredients that can cause allergies for the sake of sensitive skin, it has a scent like white florals, which I personally didn’t like (sweat). If that’s the case, I wish they’d just made it fragrance-free. I’ll keep using it for a little while longer.

Lately, I’ve been using this when I want my makeup to go on better ✨ It’s a popular item that actually ranked #1 on Olive Young and Qoo10 👏🏻 Formulated with high calcium × milk exosomes, it fills dry-prone skin with moisture and helps support the skin barrier 🫧 What I personally love about it is that you can use it to prep your skin before makeup ♡ It moisturizes really well without feeling too heavy, and when I apply it before makeup, it smooths out my skin, and my foundation seems to go on better too ◎ It’s perfect for days when dryness makes your base makeup prone to separating, or when you want a glowy finish 🤍 Of course, it works as skincare, but this serum was also easy to use as a “pre-makeup serum” 🫶🏻✨ #DPPR #DPPR #soybeanserum #SOYCUBE
