SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Quick Calming PadThese thin pads are soaked with plenty of essence and cling snugly to the skin✨ My favorite way to use them is to place them on my cheeks and forehead after washing my face and leave them on like a mask for a few minutes♡ They're easy to fit into busy mornings and also great for skincare before makeup◎ The essence feels fresh and watery, and my skin feels soft and moisturized afterward. I also love that they don't feel too sticky and leave my skin feeling refreshed🫧

ElixirBrightening Lotion CAI bought this because I wanted a toner that also provides brightening care. I used it long enough to receive about three recurring deliveries! I use the "moist type." It's a slightly thick toner, but once you work it into your skin, it surprisingly feels like it absorbs really well, without feeling too sticky or heavy. My skin is thin and prone to dryness, so I like toners that feel like they properly replenish moisture. This was easy to use because it feels moisturizing without being too heavy. It's a quasi-drug containing 4MSK, an active brightening ingredient, and another reason I bought it was that I could get brightening care and age-appropriate moisturizing care at the same time. It comes in a fresh type and a moist type, but I'm definitely on team moist! I get it through recurring delivery, and the pump dispenser I received with my first order was also super convenient. Since it's something I use every day, this makes things way easier than I expected 😂

IPSAThe Time R Aqua EThe sample was so good that I ended up spending 5,500 yen on a toner. I used to be all about affordable toners, but I really liked how the sample felt, so I bought the full size. My skin is thin and prone to dryness, and it often feels like it's lacking moisture, but I like how this makes my skin feel thoroughly replenished and hydrated after using it. It's not a sticky, heavy kind of moisture—it feels fresh and dewy. It's been about three months since I bought it, and I've been alternating it with other toners, but so far it's a firm favorite. In terms of comparing products under the Shiseido umbrella, I also tried SHISEIDO Eudermine Activating Essence, and to me, it felt somewhat similar in the sense that it “hydrates with a fresh, dewy feel and leaves my skin balanced.” Eudermine is 9,900 yen for 145 mL, while IPSA is 5,500 yen for 200 mL. Of course, they're different products, so you can't compare them directly, but when it comes to what I want from a toner—“the feeling that my skin has been thoroughly replenished with moisture,” IPSA is extremely satisfying. The packaging is so beautiful that I'd just assumed it cost over 10,000 yen, so the fact that I saw 5,500 yen and thought, “That's surprisingly cheap!” means my sense of money is completely broken 👼 It's scary that my toner budget keeps going up and up, but this is a contender for a repurchase even after I finish it.

SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Poremizing Clear Ampoule PadThis is a refreshing toner pad that's easy to use in my skincare routine after washing my face in the morning. The pads are thin and thoroughly soaked, and they don't feel heavy on my skin, so they're easy to use for skincare before makeup. After wiping, the surface of my skin feels smooth and not sticky while still retaining moisture. I also love how my skin feels cool and like its texture has been refined. They're formulated with centella (Centella asiatica extract), niacinamide, Himalayan pink salt, and more. They also contain multiple types of hyaluronic acid, so even though they're refreshing, they don't leave my skin feeling overly dry, making them easy to use as part of my morning skincare routine. All I have to do is quickly wipe my face with a pad after cleansing, so they're convenient on mornings when I don't want to spend much time. I also like placing them on specific areas and using them like a quick face mask. The box is cute too, and I like how just having it on my shelf with my backups lifts my mood a little.

Cell Fusion CCooling PadI used this last summer and this summer, so technically I've been using it for a year... though I really only used it during the summer. I used it in the morning before doing my makeup and after coming home whenever my face felt hot, either wiping my face with it or leaving the pads on my face! It feels a little slimy, but not enough to leave any residue, so it's fine before makeup too!

Skin&LabGlutathione Ampoule TonerThis toner caught my attention after I saw a makeup artist PICK it. What got me interested was purely a beauty professional's recommendation, but when I looked at the ingredients, I saw that it contains 3,000 ppm of 99% pure glutathione. I had always associated glutathione itself with IV drips and supplements, so I was surprised and intrigued to find it in skincare too. It also contains niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, polyglutamic acid, ceramide NP, and more, and personally, I really liked the combination of ingredients as well. Rather than a product that puts glutathione alone front and center, it feels more like a toner that replenishes moisture while helping with dullness caused by dryness and improving the overall condition of the skin. The texture is on the moisturizing side but not too heavy, and it's easy to layer. Personally, I I like that it feels more like an ampoule toner, just as the name suggests, than a regular toner. I initially checked it out because “it was recommended,” but after actually looking at the ingredients and how it feels to use, I can see why this product is so popular. It's a toner I'd like people who choose products based on ingredients to check out at least once.

SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Quick Calming PadOn mornings when my skin is acting up, I wipe my face with this and then use it as a mask on both cheeks! My makeup goes on better. I don't notice any dramatic changes while I'm using it, but when I stop, I realize this was what had been keeping my skin stable. This is my go-to when I want to minimize irritation and protect my skin!

Cell Fusion CCooling PadBought this hoping my makeup would go on better. It cools my skin way more than I expected, so I'm super happy with it! The cooling effect doesn't just last for the moment you remove the pads—it sticks around for a while, so it's really good before makeup. I don't particularly notice any moisturizing effect, but as long as I do my skincare properly, cool my skin with these, and then do my makeup, I'm good. I also like the vitamin C version of these!

IPSAThe Time R Aqua EI love this product and have repurchased it 3 or 4 times. Lately I've only been using Korean products, so I haven't gotten to use this, but when I do, my skin feels like it's filled with moisture, and it's such a good product that it makes me think, this really is the one! It's just slightly viscous, but basically very watery. It's a product that helps your skin retain more moisture, so I think it's good for people with dehydrated skin or anyone who wants to boost hydration. It's a basic product, and I think it'll probably work for a lot of people's skin.

SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Quick Calming PadMaybe it's just me, but it feels cool and refreshing. When I wanted to cover my whole face, I used two on each cheek, two on my forehead, and one on my nose. The pads are thin but on the firm side, so for some reason I haven't used them to wipe my face. The recommended time is about 5 minutes, but they didn't dry out even when I left them on for 30 minutes. They adhere really well, so they didn't peel off while I was using the hair dryer.

SkinfoodCarrot Carotene Calming Water PadThe pads make skincare so easy since you can just place them on your skin, so they're great for busy mornings too✨ On days when I want some extra care, I also like using them as-is like a mini sheet mask◎ I always, always split each one into two before using it🎶 They feel so fresh and hydrating, I reach for them when my skin is dry and prone to flaking too🥹🫶🏻 This was an easy item to add to my daily skincare routine♡

SkinfoodCarrot Carotene Calming Water Pad🥕 Carrot Carotene Calming Water Pad Review I was looking for a hydrating pad and tried this one, and I liked that it had more essence than I expected! 💧 The pads are soft and don't cause much irritation, so they were fine to use even on days when my skin was sensitive. I prefer placing them on my cheeks or forehead like a mask rather than using them to wipe my face☺️ My skin does feel hydrated and soft after using them, but you might be a little disappointed if you're expecting an amazing calming effect🥲 Rather than noticeably reducing redness or breakouts, they just made my skin feel comfortable and hydrated. Also, the pads are pretty saturated, so they felt a little slippery when wiping, and they weren't quite moisturizing enough to use on their own. Still, a decent product for a light boost of hydration and calming! 💚 Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'm satisfied with these as hydrating daily pads! But rather than expecting dramatic results, I think it's best to think of them as easy-to-use calming and hydrating pads :)

MatsuyamaHadauru Moisturizing Infusion Balancing LotionMy whole family shares and uses this at my parents' house. Above all, it's very gentle, and the best thing about it is that it absorbs gently without stinging, even when my skin is irritated or during seasons when it's prone to sensitivity. It's not sticky, but it thoroughly moisturizes all the way to the stratum corneum and helps calm my skin down. Anyone can use it comfortably regardless of age or skin type, so I think it's perfect for at-home skincare for the whole family. We plan to keep repurchasing it as a staple at my parents' house.

TorridenDive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Skin BoosterI use this as the first booster after washing my face. It has a gel-like texture, but it absorbs right in without feeling like it’s sitting on my skin, and the stickiness doesn’t bother me, so it’s easy to move on to the next step in my skincare routine. It feels refreshing and gives my skin a boost of hydration. It’s fragrance-free too, which is a plus. I also think it’s a great value since you get 200 ml for less than 2,000 yen! In terms of how it feels, for my combination skin that leans dry (dehydrated skin), it’s better suited for spring and summer and doesn’t feel like enough for fall and winter. Because it absorbs so well, I start to feel dry unless I apply the next skincare product fairly quickly. It doesn’t feel moisturizing enough, but I really like that it doesn’t interfere with the rest of my skincare and that it’s easy to use under makeup too!

SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Quick Calming PadI think the best thing about SKIN1004's toner pads, which specialize in calming, is how well the sheets adhere to the skin. They don't peel off even when I move around, and they hold plenty of moisture. Naturally, they boost hydration too! I have sensitive skin, so I really love that I can use them without worrying about how my skin is doing. I want to keep using them forever.

SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Quick Calming PadCool and refreshing, and when I put it on my skin, it felt thoroughly moisturized and soothed! It's thin and easy to use, and also great when I'm worried about flushed or dry skin!
-
SKIN1004Madagascar Centella Quick Calming PadI liked the Centella Ampoule, so I tried this too since it uses the same ingredient. For a toner pad, it's pretty large and doesn't have any perforations for tearing, so it's not suitable for people who want to cover smaller areas too. I think it's perfect for quickly sticking on your cheeks and forehead. Wiping with toner pads can be a bit scary for sensitive or thin skin because of the friction, but the material of these pads is soft and fluffy, so the friction doesn't bother me and they're relatively easy to use. (Still, it's better not to scrub with them) It's good to use them by gently gliding them over areas where you're concerned about skin texture. They're absolutely soaked with toner, so they seem like they could work instead of washing your face. One of my favorites among the toner pads I own.

TorridenDive-In Low Molecule Hyaluronic Acid Multi PadI learned that makeup goes on better if you cool down your skin beforehand, so this is the first toner pad I've ever bought. The sheets are on the thin side and adhere well to the curves of my face. They're shaped with a crescent-like indentation on one side so they fit under the eyes 🌙 But because they're thin, I feel like they dry out quickly. The pads were soaked with the serum in the container, but there wasn't so much that they were dripping wet or had lots left over. I took my time using them after opening the container, so toward the end, the pads felt dry. They don't feel super moisturizing either, so they leave a little to be desired (I have combination skin that leans dry). I do feel like they cool down my skin. My impression is that these are refreshing toner pads. I like that they're not thick or sticky and are easy to use even when my skin is acting up, but...I feel like it doesn't have to be this one...

MatsuyamaHadauru Moisturizing Infusion Balancing LotionThis saved my skin when it was acting up, and I've repurchased it twice! When the seasons changed, my usual skincare routine stopped feeling like enough, and my skin started feeling parched and tight. By evening, it would get itchy and irritated, so I thought, "This is bad," and started using this when I reevaluated my skincare routine. That's when I added Matsuyama's lotion and cream. For me, this combination was really easy to use, and my skin started to calm down, so I've relied on it whenever my skin is acting up ever since. I liked the lotion so much that I've repurchased it twice. I'm usually the type who wants to try all kinds of lotions, but it's really reassuring to have something I can think, "I can use this," when my skin isn't doing well. It worked especially well for me during times when my skin was prone to dryness, tightness, and irritation, like when the seasons change. I want to keep this lotion on hand for whenever my skin acts up in the future.

Cell Fusion CCooling PadI can't do without these in the summer or whenever my face feels hot, and I've honestly repurchased them so many times already. They have such a strong cooling sensation that the second I put one on, I'm like, “Cold!” and they really help the redness after a bath or sun exposure cool right down 😭 The sheets are thin and soaked with liquid, so they cling snugly to my skin, and they're easy to use both as a mask and for wiping. They're not sticky but still properly moisturizing, so they're perfect for my morning skincare routine, and when I use them before makeup, they lower my skin temperature and make my pores feel nice and tight, plus my foundation goes on so much betterr!! They're gentle on the skin, so they also help prevent peeling from dryness. If you want them to feel even cooler, I recommend keeping them in the fridge! ✨️
