AlbionStudio Milk FoundationI was lost when it came to foundation for about six months, and this is the one I finally bought🩷 Before this, I was using a DIOR foundation. The shade matched me really well and I liked it, but some days it felt a little drying, so I spent about six months looking for something that would be a bit less drying. During that time, I tried samples of various foundations I was curious about, like DECORTÉ Zen Wear, SK-II, and SHISEIDO. Out of all of them, the one whose feel I liked best was Albion's Studio Milk Foundation! It glides on thinly and smoothly, yet it naturally covers the imperfections that bother me. Rather than thoroughly concealing everything for a perfected look, I prefer how it leaves a thin veil that makes my skin look beautiful. And what I especially liked was how it doesn't dry out my skin easily and how my skin doesn't feel stressed after removing it. My skin is thin and prone to dryness, so I'm really happy that it feels less "tired" after I remove my foundation. After trying all sorts of things for six months, I finally found one that made me think, "I'd buy the full-size version of this"🩷 So far, it's definitely a favorite!

ShiseidoRevitalessence Skin Glow Foundation SPF30This seems like it would suit people who like light coverage and a natural, bare-skin finish. The coverage isn't all that high, so it's reassuring to use concealer as well on areas that bother you. Especially when I was concerned about my pores, I found it a little difficult to cover them with this alone. It didn't look too bad as it wore off, but I did get the impression that it breaks down more easily in summer or when you sweat. The dewy, moisturized glow looks beautiful, so I felt it would be good for people with dry skin or as a winter makeup base.

AlbionStudio Milk FoundationAlbion, known for its pre-lotion emulsions, came out with an emulsion-inspired foundation, so I gave it a try ♡ It's so fresh and hydrating that it's labeled a "foundation/daytime emulsion," and it leaves your skin with a "milky glow," almost like it does right after skincare. I also love that you can use it without a primer, and it has solid coverage too, so I had no complaints ◎ With dry skin, some foundations can make it look flaky or parched and even make you look older, but this didn't do that at all, so it's a favorite of mine ♡ With this level of moisture, I thought it would be even easier to use during the colder months when dryness is more of a concern.

ShiseidoRevitalessence Skin Glow Foundation SPF30It's a very sheer foundation without much coverage, so I think any unevenness will stand out unless you use it when your bare skin is in good condition. Using a primer that covers uneven skin tone works great. I don't really like heavy foundations, so personally I like this one because it gives a natural, glowy finish!

AlbionStudio Milk FoundationThe glow looks beautiful, and it gives natural coverage. After applying it, blending it in with a puff helped it adhere better to my skin and gave me a nicer finish. It might take a little trial and error to find the right combination. I felt that pairing it with a more moisturizing base helped it adhere better and wear off more evenly. Since it's a slightly moisturizing liquid foundation, if you use powder to finish, a lightweight, silky type seems to work better than a moisturizing one. With a moisturizing powder, I felt like it broke down a little more easily.

AlbionStudio Milk FoundationI recommend this for anyone who has things they want to conceal on their skin. I have oily skin with constant pores & acne issues💦 It's not red acne or anything, my skin is just bumpy and uneven. So I don't really like the glowy & bare-skin look you often get with the serum foundations that are popular right now... Plus, since I have oily skin with a lot of sebum, anything with a runny texture just slides right off. (lol) This Albion foundation has a pretty substantial texture. That doesn't mean it's hard to spread, and it's very easy to apply, so much so that applying it with your fingers is actually recommended. I put about half a pump on my fingers and spread it over my face, then tap it in with an &be sponge (dampened with water), and it provides plenty of coverage for pores and mild acne. It also holds up extremely well. On workdays I wear foundation for about 10 hours on average, and with everything I'd used before, by the time I left work my bare skin tone would be showing through completely, but with this one, I felt the coverage lasted just fine as long as I touched it up by patting on some powder. People with dry skin might not like this firmer texture. I think mixing in a serum might help. I don't really recommend it for anyone who likes a glowy, bare-skin look. It looks fairly close to bare skin for a matte foundation, but you definitely can't call it a natural skin finish. If anyone has the same skin type and concerns as me, this is a foundation I'd wholeheartedly recommend.

TirtirMask Fit Crystal Mesh CushionI used to be a cushion nomad. The pores around my nose especially never got covered, and my skin always looked dry and flaky, but I happened to go to a Tirtir store during an event, tried it on my face, totally fell in love, and bought six of them! I’m fully committed now!! It gives the prettiest finish, and these days this is seriously all I carry around. My absolute fave!! I have dry skin, so my makeup always used to cake up, but this doesn’t! It gives me such a gorgeous dewy glow. Highly, highly recommend for dry skin!

Banila CoCovericious Ultimate White Cushion Air SPF50+ PA++++First off, the coverage is pretty strong. It evens out redness, dullness, acne scars, and pores all at once! On the other hand, it can look cakey really quickly if you pick up too much, so when using it all over your face, I recommend applying a small amount in a thin layer, then layering it only where needed. The finish leans semi-matte to matte. It adheres to the skin right after application and makes the surface look smooth, and as time passes, it seems to blend with your natural oils and develop a slight glow. It also doesn't settle into pores easily, so it doesn't break down much even after wearing it for a long time. It wears off relatively nicely too, and after many hours, the only area that bothers me a little is around the sides of my nose. I think it works especially well for combination and oily skin? Depending on the skincare and primer you pair it with, I think I could recommend it for dry skin too!

AlbionStudio Milk Foundation\Blown away by the coverage and how it feels on my skin🫧/ I've been using cushion foundation forever, but I was so impressed after trying a sample that I bought a liquid foundation for the first time in ages🛍🤍 It feels as light as an emulsion, but I love how it still gives solid coverage🎶 It's moisturizing, so it's perfect for fall and winter☺️ I apply a thin layer with a spatula, then pat it in with a puff🤍 Shade 30 is also a pinkish beige, which is exactly my kind of color🫶🏻

AlbionStudio Milk FoundationThis foundation was developed with the idea of a milky lotion, but I really like that you can apply it without a primer, that it feels great going on, and that it has quite a lot of coverage. When I spread a little less than one pump, dotted onto five points, with a sponge, it hides even my pores beautifully. It doesn’t quite cover acne or acne scars, but it makes them much less noticeable. I chose 010, but 035 was also very close in color, which made me feel like they really went all out with the shade range.

ShiseidoRevitalessence Skin Glow Foundation SPF30I recommend it to anyone who wants to create a super natural dewy look! Rather than being for long-lasting coverage, it’s more suited to days when you’re doing pinpoint makeup for a specific plan over a short period, and the coverage is on the more natural side, but the way it wears off is beautiful and it’s easy to touch up. Personally, I feel like the matte one gives a more naturally dewy look and has more coverage, so I prefer the matte one.

ShiseidoRevitalessence Skin Glow Foundation SPF30I love this foundation and have repurchased it about twice. Honestly, the coverage is on the lower side when using this foundation alone. But I keep repurchasing it because my skin feels so much better than that downside! You can make up for the coverage to some extent by using a primer and powder with good coverage. Since switching to this foundation, my skin has been in good condition, and I feel like it helps maintain a dewy look and moisture. A BA also told me, “I think it’s better for your skin to wear this foundation than not to wear it,” so I’ve been trusting her and wearing it. But when I think about how bare skin can also be burdened, I feel like she may not have been entirely wrong. As a foundation, the color is natural and blends in well. I use shade 140. (It wasn’t one of the options, so I couldn’t select it.) A BA at the department store helped me choose this shade. The coverage is decent; it doesn’t hide dark spots, but it can cover the skin tone evenly. My skin tends to get dry in winter, so the foundation starts to separate after about three hours. It might not be enough for those who want perfect coverage, but for me, who prioritizes the condition of my skin, this is a foundation I can’t live without!
