About Watermelon Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters

Watermelon Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters are oils containing lipids collected from seeds.[1] They are made more dispersible in water by adding an average of 8 ethylene oxide units to the fatty components of watermelon seed oil, making them easier to use with emulsifiers than the original seed oil. In cosmetics, they are used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to condition the skin surface for a soft, smooth finish.[1]
