About Sunflower Seed Oil PEG-32 Esters

Sunflower Seed Oil PEG-32 Esters are oil components obtained from seed lipids.[1] They are forms of sunflower seed oil fatty components modified by adding an average of 32 ethylene oxide units to make them easier to disperse in water. Compared with the original seed oil, they are easier to use with emulsifiers, and when evenly blended into the oil phase, they tend to spread smoothly without skipping during application and leave a flexible feel after drying. In cosmetics, they are used to reduce friction on skin or hair and add a smooth feel, create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly blended, and leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[1] They are also used to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
