About Sodium Stearoyl Lactalbumin
Sodium Stearoyl Lactalbumin is the sodium salt of the condensation product of stearic acid chloride and milk albumin.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water; reduce hair tangling and rough feel for smoother manageability; and leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
