About Sodium Lauroyl Wheat Amino Acids

Sodium Lauroyl Wheat Amino Acids is the sodium salt of the polymerization reaction product of wheat amino acids and lauric acid chloride.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and to reduce hair tangling and rough texture for smooth conditioning.[2] It is also used to leave the skin’s surface soft and smooth, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
