About Sodium Lauroamphohydroxypropylsulfonate
Sodium Lauroamphohydroxypropylsulfonate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable. It is also used to form foam during use, reduce tangling and roughness in hair for smoother conditioning, and help ingredients that do not dissolve well in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase.[2] It is used to lower surface tension so that raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
