About Sodium Laneth Sulfate
Sodium Laneth Sulfate is the sodium salt of sulfated and ethoxylated lanolin alcohol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, to help keep water-and-oil emulsions from separating easily, and to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so that raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
