About Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer
Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer is a copolymer of sodium acrylate and sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate monomers.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to keep powder ingredients from forming lumps and help them flow evenly, prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and form a thin film on the skin, hair and nail surfaces after application.[2] It is also used to reduce light transmission so the contents appear less transparent, and to adjust the viscosity and flow of the formula.[2]
