About Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Cera
Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Cera is a wax obtained from jojoba seeds.[1] Because it consists primarily of lipid components obtained from the seeds, it mixes more readily with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, to reduce hair tangling and rough feel and leave hair softly conditioned, and to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to adjust the viscosity and flow of a formulation.[2]
