About Sesame Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters
Sesame Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters are an oil containing lipids obtained from seeds.[1] They are a form of sesame seed oil's fatty components modified by adding an average of 8 ethylene oxide units to make them easier to disperse in water, and are easier to use with emulsifiers than the original seed oil. In cosmetics, they are used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth.[1]
