About Sambucus Nigra Wax
Sambucus nigra wax is a wax obtained from black elderberry flowers and leaves.[1] Because it is composed mainly of fatty substances obtained from black elderberry leaves, it mixes more readily with oil than water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to the skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to prevent the ingredient's characteristic odor or taste from becoming too pronounced.[2]
