About Salvia Triloba Leaf Oil
Greek Sage Leaf Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the leaves of Greek sage. [1] Volatile compounds obtained from Greek sage leaves contribute to the first impression and lingering dry-down of the scent, and tend to evaporate more readily than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce the formation or visibility of dandruff on the scalp, inhibit microbial growth, and reduce plaque buildup on tooth surfaces. [2] It is also used to add flavor and scent to lip or oral-care products and to prevent the characteristic odor or taste of raw materials from becoming too prominent. [2]
