About Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters
Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters are esters of seed oil lipids.[1] They are made more dispersible in water by adding an average of 8 ethylene oxide units to the fatty components of Rosa rubiginosa seed oil, making them easier to use with emulsifiers than the original seed oil. In cosmetics, they are used to reduce friction and add a smooth feel to the skin or hair, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
