About Rhamnolipids
Rhamnolipids are glycolipids produced by Pseudomonas and composed of rhamnose associated with beta-hydroxyalkanoic acid groups.[1] In cosmetics, they are used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and help prevent emulsified mixtures of water and oil from separating easily.[2]
