About Quinoyl Tripeptide-1
Quinoyl Tripeptide-1 is a raw material obtained by the reaction of quinic acid and Tripeptide-1.[1] The number 1 at the end of the name is only an identification number distinguishing different peptides; it does not indicate the amount used or a ranking of efficacy. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reaction with oxygen, lighten color in hair or skin, and reduce tangling and rough feel in hair to leave it smooth.[2] It is also used to protect the skin from external factors.[2]
