About Pumpkin Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters
Pumpkin Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters are oils containing lipids collected from seeds.[1] They are made by adding an average of 8 ethylene oxide units to the fatty components of pumpkin seed oil, making them easier to disperse in water; compared with the original seed oil, they are easier to use with emulsifiers. In cosmetics, they are used to reduce friction on skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[1]
