About Potassium Linoleate

Potassium Linoleate is the potassium salt of linoleic acid.[1] Its solubility and charge state vary depending on the components forming the salt and the formulation's acidity, which also affects how it interacts with other ingredients. In cosmetics, it is used to help rinse away sebum and impurities with water, create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and adjust a formulation's viscosity and flow.[2]
