About PEG/PPG-6/2 Glyceryl Cocoate

PEG/PPG-6/2 Glyceryl Cocoate is a polyoxyethylene, polyoxypropylene derivative of glyceryl cocoate with an average of 6 moles of ethylene oxide and 2 moles of propylene oxide.[1] The number 6 after PPG indicates the average number of linked propylene oxide units; this number and the type of fatty component attached to it affect how well it mixes with oil and the application feel. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
