About PEG-75 Soy Glycerides
PEG-75 Soy Glycerides are polyethylene glycol derivatives of the mono- and diglycerides of soybean oil, with an average of 75 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] The number 75 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; with the same base structure, changing this number can also change water miscibility and the formulation's viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, they are used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
