About PEG-60 Tsubakiate Glycerides
PEG-60 Tsubakiate Glycerides are polyethylene glycol derivatives of mono- and diglycerides derived from camellia seed oil, with an average of 60 moles of added ethylene oxide.[1] The number 60 indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units. Within the same base structure, changing this number can affect water dispersibility as well as the viscosity and spreadability of the formulation. In cosmetics, they are used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water and to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
