About PEG-6 Oleamine

PEG-6 Oleamine is a polyethylene glycol derivative of oleamine.[1] The number 6 in the name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added. For the same base structure, changing this number may also change its miscibility with water and the formulation's viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to increase the amount of foam and help it persist.[2]
