About PEG-150 Lanolin

PEG-150 Lanolin is a polyethylene glycol derivative of lanolin containing an average of 150 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] The number 150 in the name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added; within the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formula’s viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
