About PEG-13 Mink Glycerides

PEG-13 Mink Glycerides are polyethylene glycol derivatives of mono- and diglycerides derived from mink oil, with an average of 13 moles of ethylene oxide added.[1] The number 13 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; within the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the formulation’s viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, they are used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
