About PEG-11 Babassu Glycerides

PEG-11 Babassu Glycerides are polyethylene glycol derivatives of mono- and diglycerides derived from babassu oil, with an average of 11 moles of ethylene oxide added.[1] The number 11 in the name indicates the average number of added ethylene oxide units; with the same base structure, changing this number may also alter water miscibility and the formula's viscosity and spreadability. In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsion formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
