About PEG-10 Tsubakiate Glycerides
PEG-10 Tsubakiate Glycerides are polyethylene glycol derivatives of mono- and diglycerides derived from camellia seed oil, with an average of 10 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] The number 10 in the name indicates the average number of ethylene oxide units added; within the same base structure, changing this number may also change water miscibility and the viscosity and spreadability of the formula. In cosmetics, they are used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
