About Oleoyl Hydrolyzed Collagen
Oleoyl Hydrolyzed Collagen is an ingredient obtained through a condensation reaction between oleic acid chloride and hydrolyzed collagen.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or cling together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and reduce friction on skin or hair while adding a smooth feel.[2] It is also used to form a thin film on the skin, hair, and nail surface after application, reduce tangling and rough feel in hair for smoother grooming, leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth, and reduce surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
