About Oleostearine

Oleostearine is a fatty acid remaining after the physical separation of a low-titer oil from bovine adipose tissue.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help ingredients in a formulation bind together and maintain its form, and to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel.[2]
