About Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides

Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides are a mixture of mono-, di-, and triglycerides of oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids.[1] In cosmetics, they are used to help ingredients in a formulation bind together and maintain its form, to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and to help keep emulsions from separating easily.[2] They are also used to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to adjust the viscosity and flow of the formulation.[2]
