About Laneth-10
Laneth-10 is the polyethylene glycol ether of ethoxylated lanolin alcohol with an average of 10 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to adjust the viscosity and flow of formulations.[2]
