About Kluyveromyces/Lactobacillus/Safflower Seed Oil Ferment Filtrate
Kluyveromyces/Lactobacillus/Safflower Seed Oil Ferment Filtrate is an ingredient obtained by fermenting and filtering oil pressed from safflower seeds with Kluyveromyces and Lactobacillus.[1] Its flower-derived fatty components are predominant, so it mixes more readily with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the rate at which formula ingredients oxidize through reaction with oxygen, manage shine caused by sebum and scalp or skin condition, and lighten color in hair or skin.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and roughness in hair for a smoother finish, leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth, and protect the skin from external factors.[2]
