About Hydrogenated Vegetable Glycerides Phosphate

Hydrogenated Vegetable Glycerides Phosphate is a complex mixture of esters of phosphoric acid and mono- and diglycerides derived from hydrogenated vegetable oils.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and provide a smooth feel, create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly combined, and help keep the formulation’s condition and properties from changing easily during storage.[2] It is also used to reduce surface tension so that ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
