About Hydrogenated Hazelnut Oil
Hydrogenated Hazelnut Oil is an ingredient ultimately obtained by hydrogenating American hazelnut seed oil under controlled conditions.[1] Because it is centered on fatty components obtained from the seeds of American hazelnut, it mixes better with oil than water and is suited to adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction and add a smooth feel to skin or hair, reduce tangling and rough feel in hair and leave it smooth, and leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
