About Eugenia Caryophyllus Leaf Oil
Eugenia Caryophyllus Leaf Oil is a volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of clove leaves.[1] Volatile constituents obtained from clove leaves contribute to the initial impression of the fragrance and the lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more readily than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to prevent the characteristic odor or taste of ingredients from becoming too pronounced, to add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of ingredients, and to leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to leave skin or hair feeling fresh and well-groomed.[2]
