About Elaeagnus Mollis Seed Oil

Elaeagnus Mollis Seed Oil is a nonvolatile fixed oil obtained by pressing the seeds.[1] Because it primarily consists of fatty components from Elaeagnus mollis seeds, it mixes better with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formulation ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, reduce friction and add a smooth feel to skin or hair, and attract moisture to the formulation and skin surface to help maintain hydration.[2] It is also used to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
