About Dihydroxyethyl C9-11 Alkoxypropylamine Oxide

Dihydroxyethyl C9-11 Alkoxypropylamine Oxide is a tertiary amine oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable. It is also used to help ingredients that are poorly soluble in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
